Hello lovelies! We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Like many, we celebrated Halloween over the weekend and dressed up! I was a scarecrow and Ivana was an alien! We both put our costumes together last minute so these are super easy looks to recreate if you are stuck.
KALINA'S LOOK
For my scarecrow ensemble, I threw on a navy cami and a
flannel shirt then paired that with
medium washed jeans. Then of course I drew on the scarecrow nose and mouth with
black eyeliner, added some
blush to get the rosy cheeks, and finished the look off with a red lip color from Wycon Cosmetics in Italy (Similar
here and
here). The shade is GORGEOUS!
IVANA'S LOOK
Ivana went as an alien this year and looked super cute! She wore
black leggings and a black tank with
white sneakers and a pearl necklace! She drew on sparkly white and purple dots on her face with eyeshadow and used those same two colors to create a statement lip color!
We really enjoyed celebrating Halloween! Tomorrow we'll be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters and packing for our trip to Washington D.C.! We are so excited for our trip! If you have any recommendations for us, leave us a comment down below! And while you're at it, tell us what you dressed up as for Halloween this year!

This was one of our favorite lines - we were OBSESSED with all the velvet. We are so glad it's making a comeback!
Some of our other favorite designers were Lucia's Sarto and Lauren Bander. They both had phenomenal collections! We loved seeing everyone dressed up for the occasion. Here's what we wore...

I went with an
elegant slip dress and
black heels for the KC Fashion Week Finale. I kept the jewelry simple and opted for a single pearl necklace - I think it added the perfect touch to the look! I also had an Hermes hand purse with me (not pictured). Also - excuse the poor lighting. The setting was quite dark but it definitely created the perfect mood for the fashion show! All of the designs and models were stunning! One of our friends modeled down the runway and we loved seeing her!

I kept it simple and clean with a
chiffon white top with black detailing,
skinny jeans, and
white strappy heels. My accessories were minimal as well, with just a black Zara clutch (not pictured) to keep my things in. I would also like to give a shout out to my beautiful friend who modeled down the runway. She did a phenomenal job!
We had so much fun at the KCFW finale last night! We hope you all had a great weekend! We have more Fall fashion looks coming up on the blog so stay tuned!

I could come up with a thousand reasons why I am "too busy to workout". Seriously. But I have realized that the reason why some people do not work out that often is because they don't know where to start. They don't know what workouts to try. What I have found to be most helpful is finding workouts I genuinely enjoy.
I always feel better when I stay active throughout the day versus when I am sitting around all day. The first thing I do in the morning is stretch. This is such an easy way to get your muscles working in the morning and doesn't take any time out of a busy schedule. I also do squats or wall sits while I'm brushing my teeth.
Whenever I can, I take a walk. Walking is so good for you and you won't be dying afterwards. Plus, it is really healthy to get outside for some fresh air. Fall is the perfect time to take walks because it's not unbearably hot or too cold. This one also requires minimal time. If you have 20-30 minutes to spare, that's all you need!
I also love doing exercises like yoga and zumba which I enjoy but still benefit from. Zumba is a great workout for anyone who loves dancing and it really gets your heart rate up! Yoga, on the other hand, is peaceful and relaxing.
Those are some of the main ways I like to work out and fit exercise into my schedule. I also have some workout essentials for you...

It's crazy to think that October is here! With Fall just about in full swing, we thought we'd share a Fall Bucket List. It really helps to write things down because without doing so it's easy to simply forget about half the things you wanted to do.
P.S. - We make some really delicious Pumpkin Cheesecake with our mom every Fall! We will be posting this recipe at some point this Fall season so be on the lookout!
